The HOA currently has an email distribution list to provide members with updates. If you are not receiving email updates and would like to receive these, please email us at info@blackburnecreek.com. Please know that you can change your communication preferences at any time by sending an email to info@blackburnecreek.com
At the AGM earlier this week, a form was provided for residents to provide consent and direction regarding the types of information they consent to receive through email. For those residents who were not able to attend the AGM, we will accept emailed directions to provide this consent. Please note the following:
Notice of Collection of Information. By completing this form (or emailing the HOA to advise), the member or resident consents to this information being used by the HOA board to communicate with members. This information will not be disclosed to other organizations or individuals unless required according to collections of unpaid fees or in accordance with our bylaws. If you have questions regarding the collection and use of this information, kindly email the HOA at info@blackburnecreek.com and a member of the Board of Directors will respond. This collection of information is in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
If you also consent to the HOA providing you with emailed HOA invoices and Invitations to the AGM, please email to advise if you have not already provided this consent at the AGM. As the use of email for these purposes provides a cost savings to the HOA and supports the workload of your HOA board and volunteers, we will be passing along this savings to our members by providing a $5.00 credit on HOA fees for members who agree to receive communications through email for AGM invitations and HOA invoices and who pay their invoices before a reminder mailed through Canada Post is required.
Please note that we are happy to continue to provide HOA invoices and AGM invitations through Canada Post for those members who prefer this option. No action is required if this is your preference, we will assume Canada Post is preferred unless we receive direction from members otherwise.
