Dear Neighbours,

 

The HOA Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to invite all residents to the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Blackburne Creek Homeowners’ Association.

 

While all residents of Blackburne are welcome to attend, please note that voting cards will be provided to registered members only (according to land title), we thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.

 

Meeting Details: Date: Monday, November 18, 2024

Time: Doors open and registration from 6 - 7.  Meeting will begin at 7pm

Location: Ellerslie Baptist Church Gymnasium 10603 Ellerslie Road SW

We will use this time to provide updates regarding the events, activities and finances of the HOA, discuss a number of proposed bylaw (posted in member's portal Nov 11th) and administrative changes, hear from several working groups, and elect a board of Directors for the following year. We hope you will all take advantage of this opportunity to come together as a community to participate in the decisions that impact our neighbourhood and exercise your democratic vote in determining the direction of the HOA.

 

An information package will be available in the member’s portal of the HOA website by Nov 11, 2024.  Limited printed copies will be available at the AGM.  If you would like a printed copy, please consider downloading and printing a copy to bring with you to the AGM, or kindly advise the board by email info@blackburnecreek.com  by November 15th if you require the HOA to provide a printed copy.

 

If you have not already accessed the member’s portal.  A tip sheet is available in the documents section of the website.  Please email info@blackburnecreek.com for support if needed.

 

Financial binders with details of expenditures for the past 3 fiscal years will be available for review from 6-7pm for anyone wishing to review detailed information. Past financial reports are available in the member’s portal.
