Spring Cleanup Cancelled

 

Every year, the Board of Directors discuss the need for a spring clean-up around the neighborhood. A clean-up morning is normally held in May with a small number of stalwarts regularly donning gloves and those neat reachers to fill a good number of garbage bags with the winter’s deposit of trash along our trails, walkways, and roadways.

 

After discussion, the Board has decided to forego the clean-up this year, primarily due to a lack of serious garbage. We will host the clean-up next spring, with a view to making it an biannual event (rather than yearly).

 

In the interim, please continue to clean up the garbage you find in your meanderings through our neighborhood. It’s a strategy that really does keep the neighborhood clean.
