It was amazing to see so many of our neighbours at the park on September 7th for community connection and fun!  Mother nature cooperated and we had a beautiful and hot day to enjoy time together.  Even the wasps cooperated and buzzed off for the day!

 

Our Community Rock snake measured in at 35 feet!  Through a draw, he was named "Rocky" - how appropriate!  We hope you continue to add painted rocks to grow the snake.  This is not just for children, adults are also welcome to join in.  Have fun, be creative and show your personality!  Once painted, you can protect your rock from the elements by spraying a coat of clear sealant.

 

This event would not have been possible without the support of volunteers and donations from local businesses in the community.  Many thanks to everyone who participated to make this event a success.  A special shout out to HOA board member Joan who worked tirelessly to secure donations, outdoor games and refreshments.  Many thanks also to our juniour volunteers who provided balloon creations, glitter tattoos and helped out at the rock painting table.

 

Thanks to our volunteers and donors, this event was at no cost to the HOA as we are working hard to trim expenses to recover from financial challenges over the past 9 months.  We hope that in the future we will have funds available to offer more entertainment and refreshment to support our community in coming together.
